National Government right now

In United States, the election dates are fixed. The period is fixed. They don't have any snap polls. Even in crisis, their constitution offers a stable democratic government. No confusion at all.

Those founding fathers of United States of America; not just their citizens, but also the whole world respects and regards those visionary human beings. They could build a system, three hundred years ago, taking everything into consideration. The best of the best in democracy system; no defects. The current day chaos in American system is the misinterpretation of the constitution; such as, primary election and its elimination process; and so on. The United States constitution doesn't authorize any political party and its all associated practices such as, primary election. Even three hundred years ago, they didn't introduce any election symbols; their citizen could read the names of the candidates and could cast their vote. In India, it is an insult to the intelligence of the citizen, to have symbols on those electronic voting machine.

In India,  when the election is announced, the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that he will step down after his country's national elections due in May.

"In a few months' time, after the general election, I will hand the baton over to a new prime minister," Singh told a news conference in New Delhi.

In Sri Lanka; don't just blame Mahinda Rajapaksa. Earlier, Chandrika Kumaratunga did try to abuse the constitution by announcing poll earlier and asked for adding one year to the second term.

The whole sufferings of the citizens of Sri Lanka, right from 1947 - is mainly due to the confusion of political system. Had they practiced 'all citizens are equal' policy right from 1947, they would not had to undergo all those sufferings of civil war.

At least now, have the policy; may not for citizens; but for candidates. Let all candidates be equal; let them have equal rights for the election.

So, let the President Mahinda Rajapaksa resign and may act as an interim president till the announcement of the election results; if Mahinda Rajapaka has confidence in himself and in his performance.

But now, more than confidence, the President Mahinda Rajapaksa has fear. All his actions are born out of fear. So, Mahinda Rajapaksa would never resign and would not select the role of interim president.

But the field has to provide equal rights and opportunities to all candidates; then only the election would be fair and free.

So, dismiss the Executive President now, as the election has been announced and form an interim National Government now; yes right now.

In any democracy, the legislature has the power. So, in legislature pass a resolution to dismiss the Executive President and form an interim National Government now.

No need for National Government after the election; after the election, let the President have a free hand in selecting her  or his cabinet.

But now, form the National Government.

Challenge the system; in the court; in the legislature; and on the street.

Imran Khan has been a model for emerging democracy; fight on the street.

Member of Parliament Mangala Samaraweera said; the MoU about the deal of making Ranil as the Prime Minister would be signed on the road on next Monday.

So, challenge the system; let the world know about the democracy in Sri Lanka.

It would be meaningful to boycott this election, if Mahinda Rajapaksa continue to be the Executive President during the election process. Out of fear of defeat, Mahinda Rajapaka would misuse and abuse all the democratic institutions such as, Election Commission, Judicial Legal system, Parliament to win the election. It will not be a fair and free election. President Mahinda Rajapaksa would fix the result; even if the results go against Mahinda Rajapaksa, you cannot ask him to vacate the seat. Mahinda Rajapaksa would continue to be the President till 19 November 2016.

So, act now and go for an interim National Government right now.

Then all players on the filed would be equal. Let Mahinda Rajapaksa take this as a challenge and contest the election on his strength in free and fair way. In that manner, if Mahinda Rajapaksa contest and win the election, the world would respect him.

Not sure, whether God would bless Mahinda or not; but the Pope would visit Ceylon and would bless Mahinda.

On the other hand, if the world have to witness violence on the streets of Colombo, the Pope would cancel the visit.

So, go for an interim National Government right now.
