अच्छे दिन आ गए हैं
Time has come to take tough decisions in the interest of the nation. Whatever decisions we take will be solely guided by national interest.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today warned of "tough decisions" over the next couple of years to improve the country's financial health, which he said may not go down well with some sections, and attacked the way the previous UPA government had handled the economy.
"Taking tough decisions and strong measures in the coming one or two years are needed to bring financial discipline which will restore and boost the country's self-confidence", he said addressing BJP workers in Panaji.
This is the first occasion in less than three weeks since taking over reins of power that Mr Modi has made sharply critical comments on the previous Manmohan Singh government's performance.
"I have taken over the reins of the country in circumstances when there is nothing left behind by the previous government. They left everything empty. The country's financial health has hit the bottom," PM Modi said.
However, in the short run, such measures may not go down well with everybody, he said.
"I am well aware that my steps may dent the immense love that the country has given to me. But when my countrymen would realise that these steps would result in getting the financial health back, then I will regain that love," said the Prime Minister.
On the other hand, if these tough measures were not taken, the financial situation would not improve, he said, adding "we need to take action wherever required".
"We won't be helping the country by praising Modi and praising BJP. There is no guarantee that just singing praise of Modi would improve the situation. We need to take harsh measures to improve the financial situation," he said.
Shortly later, Mr Modi tweeted that "time has come to take tough decisions in the interest of the nation. Whatever decisions we take will be solely guided by national interest".
In Goa, Narendra Modi dropped the bomb and went to Bhutan to relax for two days.
In the interest of the nation means not in the interest of BJP; not in the interest of RSS.
Nothing will happen, by praising Modi; by praising BJP.
Narendra Modi maintains the distinction between Modi and BJP.
In his words, Modi refers to Narendra Modi and BJP refers to Lal Kishan Advani and others.
When Narendra Modi was in Gujarat, he did encourage people touching his feet.
There it was love; affection.
Here in Delhi, it is to pull others leg.
Narendra Modi didn't say; don't touch his feet.
Narendra Modi said, don't touch other senior leaders feet too.
In clear words, don't touch Advani's feet.
As per Indian Constitution, Lal Kishan Advani still have full control over numbers of MPs.
Narendra Modi said; my steps may dent the immense love that the country has given to me.
Narendra Modi has already taken tough decisions and lost love of few Parliamentarians.
First is, Narendra Modi denied Leader of Opposition to Congress.
In that way, Narendra Modi made all parliamentarians are equal.
Second is, Narendra Modi eliminated the title of Lal Kishan Advani.
There is no NDA chairman and there is no UPA chairman.
Both NDA and UPA are eliminated.
Third is, there is no Number Two in Modi government.
In the last meeting, Advani, Vengaiya Naidu and Rajnath Singh was sitting on this side.
Advani - it is just an honorable position.
Vengaiya Naidu - harmless.
Rajnath Singh - is not Number Two.
Just because, Rajnath Singh is the party president, he is sitting this side.
The moment someone becomes the party president, Rajnath Singh has to sit in the front row.
Everybody is now strengthening their position.
Modi-Sushma is similar to Obama-Hillary.
Rajnath Singh is just following Bhagavad Gita.
Just do your duty; leave the result to god.
Rajnath Singh will co-operate with Lal Kishan Advani.
Rajnath Singh knows that Advani is getting old.
So, for Advani's action, the beneficiary will be Rajnath Singh.
Narendra Modi has no special love for any BJP Chief Minister.
Narendra Modi is not in a hurry to disturb any state governments.
It will be an additional burden on Narendra Modi.
When things are not going good in UP, people blame Akilesh.
When things are not going good in Goa, people would blame Narendra Modi.
In fact, Narendra Modi feels comfortable working with other Chief Ministers.
That is the fact. Narendra Modi challenges all BJP leaders as he gets the support of other regional leaders.
- Jayalalitha 37
- Mamata 34
- Naveen 20
- TRS 11
- YSR 9
- J&Co 111
- Others 150
- BJP 141
- Modi 141
Without fixing the defects in the Indian constitution, Narendra Modi couldn't deliver.
In India, it is still,
democracy of politicians;
democracy for politicians;
democracy by politicians.
So, in the interest of nation; nothing works.
It works only in the interest of politicians.
