A few thoughts as we complete a month in office

>> Every new Government has something that friends in the media like to call a ‘honeymoon period.’

That is the power of the media. Leaders follow the media. So, media needs to act with total responsibility in choosing words; in promoting a phrase.

When you join in a new job; there is no honeymoon period.
Our soldiers, when they join in military; all they have is hot sun and cold moon period.
How could we have honeymoon period in service to the nation.

Did Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi have any honeymoon period?

Kya Honeymoon?

Honeymoon doesn't exist even in married life. That is the current status of human culture.

In ancient India, people enjoyed life with total and complete happiness. Kamasutra was the happiness of men and women. Now, all you see is; sex; rape.

Honeymoon; the only married man in the whole wide world; had no sufferings of married life and just enjoyed the honeymoon period of married life; that is, Narendra Modi.

In face, all men are longing for a wife like Jashodaben.

Nowadays, there is no first-night after the marriage. Nothing first about it; before marriage itself, there has been one thousand nights.

So, in human life, there is no joy; all they have is pleasure.

Coming back to politics:

Narendra Modi complains about his honeymoon; let us see others.

Rajnath Singh - has sleepless nights; find it so challenging in dealing with Narendra Modi.

Lal Kishan Advani - lost everything.

Amit Shah - right now, no responsibilities; could have enjoyed; but the fact is, Amit Shah is restless; not clear about his future. All cabinet ministers and the Prime Minister owe a lot to Amit Shah. It is not good for them to frustrate Amit Shah. You cannot predict, how a frustrated person behave.

V.K.Singh - lost the defense portfolio.

Arun Jetley - lost the election; but awarded with finance and defense.

Subramaniam Swamy - lost everything.

Arun Shourie - lost all hopes.

So, all are in a state of total confusion. India had never been in this situation. This situation is totally new; everyone has been undergoing transformation.

Sushma Swaraj - https://twitter.com/SushmaSwaraj Playing with caution. For Sushma, it is a battle between men and woman. Not being carried away with social media. As a responsible minister of foreign affairs; Sushma cannot congratulate Germany for World Cup Football. Nextday, France will protest against India. Had it been a neighbor country, there will be a military war over civil social media comments.

>> When we took over a month ago, I kept thinking that I am new to this place and some people believed that I would take at least a year or even two to learn the intricacies of the working of the Central Government. Fortunately, a month later that thought does not exist any longer in my mind. My confidence and determination has increased tremendously and I credit a substantial part of this to the collective experience and wisdom of my ministerial colleagues and also to my experiences as a four time Chief Minister. The affection of the people and support from officials has also added to this confidence in large measure.

 Four time Chief Minister; that has been the concern for all political leaders. Opportunity is denied for all others. There should be a law, providing opportunity to all; restrict one term per person.

Delhi politics. Narendra Modi has no knowledge about Delhi politics. In fact, knowledge is burden; ignorance is blessing. When you have too much knowledge; you are loaded with so much burden. With burden, you cannot learn anything new; you cannot see anything new; you cannot have any vision.

Learning is living; living is life. Narendra Modi doesn't depend on any accumulated knowledge. Narendra Modi is learning. That is the reason, all those Delhi politicians find it so hard to meet the challenges of Narendra Modi.

That's a conflict of interest. Delhi politicians used to weaken and eliminate the Chief Ministers. They have never tried to work with them. This policy will promote regional leadership and will work against the party.

>>I feel there are areas where surely we need to improve. A big challenge I am facing in Delhi is to convey to a select group of people about our intentions and sincerity to bring a positive change in this country. These are people who are both within and outside the government system. There have been some instances in the last month with which our Government had nothing to do yet these controversies have persisted. I don’t blame anybody but I surely feel that we need to strengthen systems whereby the right things are communicated to the right people at the right time. Hopefully things will change then.

That is true. Some kind of fixed pattern got set in Delhi; not only in Delhi, but also in Washington.

Rigid, frozen, fixed pattern has been set in the minds of politicians in Delhi and in Washington. With this mindset, they couldn't see new challenges as well as new opportunities. This challenge is real.

Had it been a dictatorship, they just simple get rid of them. In democracy, you need to transform them.

Lal Kishan Advani has realized the fact; there is no difference between Narendra Modi and others. Whether it is Rajnath Singh or Sushma Swaraj or Uma Bharati - no difference. Everybody tries to safeguard their interest; career; ambition. Nobody tries to sacrifice their minister postion in support of Lal Kishan Advani.

வீதி வரை மனைவி;
காடு வரை பிள்ளை;
கட்சி ஆபிஸ் வரை தொண்டன்;
மந்திரி ஆகும் வரை, மரியாதை;

கூடி வரும் கூட்டம்,
கொள்ளி வரை வருமோ.

Look at the current state of Bengal.
Once, Calcutta was considered as dirtiest city;
but, then the heart of people was so clean and innocent.

Now, Calcutta may be clean;
but the heart of that Bengali MP is full of garbage;
disqualify that MP;
just like in sports, make the second runner up as the winner.
Send the second person as the MP for that constituency in Bengal.
