Judicial Branch in India

Subramanian Swamy says Modi permitted him to function freely!

Chennai, Sep 29: Subramanian Swamy said that justice was delivered because Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not influence the disproportionate assets case of Tamil Nadu former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and let it go independently.

Swamy said that initially he also thought that he's fighting against the leader of one of the biggest political parties in Tamil Nadu and the case is sure to get influenced

But when he approached Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the same, Modi assured him that he will not interfere in the case and that Swamy can freely go about it legally.

Swamy also agreed to the fact that there was a lot of pressure from a lot of people and to keep the case going, they had to put in too much efforts. But he was thankful that the case did not reach the point of withdrawal.

Swamy said that he was always sure that the court will give the right judgement and appropriate sentence to Jayalalithaa. "Though it has been a little late, justice has been delivered." Jayalalithaa was sentenced to serve four years in jail and asked to pay a fine Rs.100 crores in connection with a disproportionate assets case by a Bangalore Special Court.

Unconstitutional power in India.

Nobody makes such a statement in United States. I asked Barack Obama not to interfere in that case; and Barack assured me that he will not interfere; and I could go about it legally without any interference.

Only in India.

Sonia had been the unconstitutional authority in India and had been giving directions to Manmohan Singh.

Now, Subramaniam Swamy has been the unconstitutional authority in India; giving step by step instructions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Whether it is Sri Lanka or Israel or Islamic State. Prime Minister Modi listens to Subramaniam Swamy.

Subramaniam Swamy is not a member of Modi cabinet.

Subramaniam Swamy is not a Member of Parliament.

Subramaniam Swamy has no constitutional authority; no responsibility; no accountability.

But in 2014, Subramaniam Swamy is the powerful man in India; who could influence the Prime Minister Modi.

_____________________________________________________________________

Go through the statement, word by word.

It is an insult to the Constitution of India.

It is an insult to the entire Judicial Branch.

It raises questions about the authority and responsibility of the Judicial System in India.

Subramanian Swamy said that justice was delivered because Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not influence the disproportionate assets case of Tamil Nadu former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and let it go independently.

That means Prime Minister could influence;
but chose not to influence the judicial system in India.

Swamy also agreed to the fact that there was a lot of pressure from a lot of people and to keep the case going, they had to put in too much efforts. But he was thankful that the case did not reach the point of withdrawal.

Lot of pressure from a lot of people....
Swamy needs to make that list of people public.

he was thankful....

Thankful to who?
Thankful to that judge; the judge did his duty; you don't need to be thankful for that.
_________________________________________________________

The bottom line is; from Swamy's statement, the judicial system in India doesn't function with total freedom.

People from the Executive Branch could influence the judgement.

Blame it on Magna Carta

Before Magna Carta,  the King or the Queen was the judge.

There were no separate Judicial Branch.

Whether it is King Pandyan at Madurai or King Solomon, they delivered judgement instantly.

There was no delay. When Kanngi came to the court of King Pandyan, Pandyan listened to the argument and gave the judgement instantly.

When two mothers came to the court of King Solomon, Solomon listened to the argument and gave the judgement instantly.

Blame it on Magna Carta. We lost that system; now we depend on judicial courts for judgement.

Who is accountable for the delay in delivering the judgement?

Who could be held accountable for the delay of 18 years?

What do we have now?

In democracy, we say the people is king or queen.

And people leader is the King or Queen in democracy.

Does these new Kings or Queens have the wisdom of those ancient kings and queens.

Who could be held accountable for the delay in delivering the judgment for 18 years?

Could we have all the Chief Justices during these 18 years accountable for the delay?

Everything has an expiry date. You cannot drag it forever.

Judges!

If you cannot deliver judgment within its expiry date, then that case goes invalid.
This case is a dead one.

Giving a judgement on this dead case; it is like decorating a dead body.

Fedora

Fedora, the movie
The tagline reads, "Youth had been a habit of hers for so long that she could not part with it."

The very first scene in this movie is funeral. Funeral of a popular actress; the actress body was laid down in her house; fans were waiting in line to pay their respects and love; the actress body was well decorated with minute details.

Then they closed the front door and took break for few hours. The camera now zoomed into the balcony. An old woman stood there and watching the funeral. That old woman came close to the body and gave instructions for further make-up for that dead body.

After a few scenes, the audience would learn the truth. The old woman was Fedora. The dead body was her daughter. Fedora was managing her celebrity image till its death.

Once a human being starts building an image, then that human being would go any extent to keep that image alive forever.
______________________________________________________________

Nowadays, nobody wants to build any image out of them. They would like to live a life of a human being. Even for that, they have to struggle.

Deepika Padukone

My Point of View...

There is only ONE sign that a woman wants to have sex and that is that she says “YES”.

The reason I write the above line is because we all know that in India we are so desperately trying to make a change in the way sections of our society think in order to move towards a happier world devoid of inequality, rape, fear and pain.

I am not naive about my own profession; it is one that requires lots of demanding things of me. A character may demand that I be clothed from head to toe or be completely naked, and it will be my choice as an actor whether or not I take either. Understand that this is a ROLE and not REAL, and it is my job to portray whatever character I choose to play convincingly.

What my concern is and I am stating it clearly so it is not misconstrued or confused with Shahrukh’s 8-pack or any other woman’s or man’s anatomy. I have spoken out against an ideology that such regressive tactics are still being employed to draw a reader’s attention at a time when we are striving for women’s equality and empowerment. In a time where women should be applauded for making headway in a male-dominated society,we blur the lines between REEL and REAL life and dilute all our efforts by making a one-year old back sliding piece of news a headline. Digging out an old article and headlining it “OMG: Deepika’s Cleavage Show!” to attract readers is using the power of influence to proliferate recessive thought.

When an actresses inner wear decides to do a "peek-a-boo",she most definitely did not step out with the intention to do so.So instead of zooming in,circling it and pointing arrows at it,why don't we give her some 'respect' and let it go instead of making it 'headlines'!? Are we not human?Yes we marvel, envy and drool over a male actors 8pack abs in a film, but do we zoom in on the mans 'crotch' when he makes a public appearance and make that 'cheap headlines'??!!

I have no issue celebrating my body and I have never shied away from anything on-screen to portray a character. In fact my next character portrayed is a bar dancer (sorry Farah for the spoiler!) who titillates men as a means to support her livelihood. My issue is you propagating the objectification of a REAL person, and not a character being played. Sure, dissect my characters if you wish-if it is of so much interest then discuss the character’s cup size and leg length if it is relevant to making the role convincing. All I am asking for is respect as a woman off-screen.

It is not about breasts, penises,or any other body part being reported. It is a matter of context and how out-of-context the reportage is just to sell a headline. And more so during a time in dire need of an attitude shift towards women.

For me this topic ends here.Everyone is entitled to an opinion.I have little interest to take this further as it might get more attention than it deserves and might be further misconstrued and twisted to sell more undeserved headlines.

Having said that, please may we show love, dignity and respect to each other.

Live well, laugh often and love much.

In this time period, all; film celebrities; politicians; television persons; all would like to live their life. They don't want to live a life of those movie characters. People need to realize the truth that celebrities are also human beings. Mosquitoes do bite them too. Just like any other human being, they also feel hunger; sometimes anger; sad; happy; and so on.

Well done, Deepika.

Leadership crisis in Pakistan

Blood, Toil, Tears and Sweat
On May 10, 1940, Winston Churchill became Prime Minister. When he met his Cabinet on May 13 he told them that "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat." He repeated that phrase later in the day when he asked the House of Commons for a vote of confidence in his new all-party government. The response of Labour was heart-warming; the Conservative reaction was luke-warm. They still really wanted Neville Chamberlain. For the first time, the people had hope but Churchill commented to General Ismay: "Poor people, poor people. They trust me, and I can give them nothing but disaster for quite a long time."

The nation doesn't need a leader, if there is no crisis. When there is no crisis, politicians could effectively manage the government. That is what has been happening in Pakistan till now. Only crisis demands leadership.

As a politician, Winston Churchill was a total failure. Stanley Baldwin is the best and the most successful politician. Churchill was about to retire from politics. But in 1940, the Europe was in a serious crisis. So, people asked Churchill to become the Prime Minister.

Even now, there is no crisis in Pakistan. So, there is no need for great leadership in Pakistan.

Crisis is not there; but, opportunities are plenty. Innovative opportunities are available in plenty.

As soon as Imran Khan becomes the Prime Minister or the Executive President of Pakistan, all business leaders would visit Pakistan.

The Twitter and Facebook executives would be the first ones to meet with Imran Khan.

English. Again, the English; not just any ordinary English; the best grammer; Wren-and-Martin-English-Grammar.

That is the huge asset of Pakistan. Human resources with very high quality education on language, arts, science and technology; great demand.

And the world is looking at the 100 million population of Pakistan. Huge market for international business organizations.

Opportunities are there; but it will take time.

Let us assume Imran Khan take charge this week; it will take next five decades to develop Pakistan to a good living place.

Right now, Pakistan has a tremendous opportunities for growth; opportunities need great leadership; Imran Khan is there to lead.

Almost all the world political leaders are preparing themselves to work with Imran Khan; all international business communities are preparing themselves to work with Imran Khan.

In Pakistan, the military respects the leadership of Imran Khan; the Supreme Court supports Imran Khan; the Parliamentarians support Imran Khan.

In fact, Imran Khan, along with him, he lifts the entire team of politicians and parliamentarians. Because of Imran Khan, the world now get to know the name of many politicians of Pakistan.

Not only the educated; even the street kids support Imran Khan.

Even if he says: "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat. Poor people, poor people. They trust me, and I can give them nothing but disaster for quite a long time."

People of Pakistan would enjoy the leadership of Imran Khan.

Developing Pakistan is not an easy task. It is an uphill task. With the leadership of Imran Khan, people would work together and develop their nation.

So, not just crisis; even opportunities demand leadership.

72 million do not support Nawaz Sharif

  • registered voters in Pakistan: 86 million
  • polled votes:                           46 million
  • no confidence in democracy: 40 million
So, obviously 40 million people of Pakistan do not support Nawaz Sharif.

  • Nawaz Sharif: 14 million
  • Zardari:             7 million
  • Imran Khan:     8 million
  • others:             17 million
In fact, Nawaz Sharif got only 14 million out of 86 million.
Others got 32 million out of 86 million.

It's obvious, Nawaz Sharif doesn't have the people mandate. More people in Pakistan do not authorize Nawaz Sharif to function as the Chief Executive of Pakistan.

Sooner is better for Nawaz Sharif.
In total, 72 million do not support Nawaz Sharif.

Go Nawaz Go

It's time. Nawaz has to go.

There is a life; a life after retirement; let Nawaz enjoy the life of retirement.

Right now, Nawaz Sharif stands alone. Even his daughter may see this as an opportunity for her to become the head of the state. That is the best option, Nawaz Sharif has now.

Let Maryam Nawaz Sharif be the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Pakistan needs a change. All changes need not be progress. But still people need change.

So, Nawaz Sharif has a challenger, right at home.

Alternatively, Nawaz Sharif could make his brother as the Prime Minister.
That is the next best option. So, Nawaz Sharif has a challenger in his family.

The other option is, Nawaz Sharif could make a highly reliable, loyal worker of his party as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Many in his party may see the current situation as a wonderful opportunity for their career in politics.

Other politicians support Nawaz Sharif on the floor of the parliament. That is the current situation. Why do they support. Do they love Nawaz Sharif? Do they love democracy? Do they love Pakistan?

None of the above. They love themselves.

They support Nawaz Sharif because they see a bigger threat in Imran Khan.
They support Nawaz Sharif because they may lose their postions, when Imran Khan bring about the transformation in Pakistan.
They support nawaz Sharif because they don't want to change anything in Pakistan.

So, the fact is nobody loves Nawaz Sharif. The support Nawaz Sharif enjoying right now; it is coming out of fear to bring about any change in Pakistan.

It is better for Nawaz Sharif to choose the least damage for his exit.

Responsible Citizens of Pakistan

Twitter. The 140 characters limitation is the innovation for Twitter. Technologically, they could have eliminated that limit. But Twitter do put a hard stop for the character limit. That is the best decision. Because of  that limit, people take care for effective communication. In Facebook, people post long comments; but it is boring to read long comments. Short ones are easy to read and effective too.

In the recent history, the most effective Twitter messages are from the Pakistan Military. This is the first time, people from all over the world have debate and discussion about 'mediator' and 'facilitator.' Pakistan military Twitter messages may not be the most popular one; but it is very effective communication.

Recent violent protests and damages; that is the minimum damage; bound to happen. Nothing comes from nothing. But it would be better to avoid any violent actions and damages to government properties. Imran Khan should appeal to the police officers and other government executives; this protest is for the betterment their life and their family members life. So, they should co-operate with the protesters; not with the government.
_______________________________________________________

The politicians did a mistake. They should have corrupted Imran Khan. Imran Khan has been in politics for quite some time; he is not new to politics. So, the politicians had a long time; they should have corrupted Imran Khan by this time; by giving him some minister post or some thing. They just ignored him. Now, Imran Khan learnt so much thing about politics in Pakistan; not only that; Imran Khan learns about politics in neighboring countries and as well as UK and USA.

In 1947, all neighbors were at the same level. India, Pakistan, Ceylon, Bangladesh and Burma. Economical, agricultural, industrial, infrastructure, transportation and communication. Now, India is competing with US; Pakistan is competing with Afghanistan. India's development will have a huge impact on all neighboring countries. No longer you can be just play the same old music; people are tired of it; people need action.
_________________________________________________________

In 1931, Muhammad Ali Jinnah withdrew from Indian political scene to settle in London, where he took up law practice. Jinnah had no intension of returning. Liaquat Ali Khan told Jinnah in London that Nehru had indiscreetly said at a private dinner party that 'Jinnah is finished.' An infuriated Jinnah packed up and sailed back to India just to 'show Nehru...' Jinnah's self-imposed exile had lasted about three years.

Nobody else could have got a Pakistan. Only Jinnah could do it. Gandhi was capable of corrupting anyone. Gandhi influenced Ghan Abdul Gaffar Ghan, the tall man; used to be known as Frontier Gandhi.

In fact, Mountbatten was so surprised with Gandhi's way of solving problem. Gandhi corrupted Jinnah; Jinnah also agreed to it. Gandhi suggested; let Jinnah be the Prime Minister of India. In that way, you could avoid the partition. Nehru didn't agree to it.

It's so unfortunate; Jinnah lived just for one year after independence. Had Jinnah lived for a few more years, he would have laid a solid foundation for Pakistan.
_________________________________________________________

Now, Pakistan is like a new-born baby. All citizens and institutions are waking up from a deep sleep.

Not only the people of Pakistan; people of the entire world is now watching Pakistan.

Every action; every words are being carefully listened by the world people.

So you be a political leader; you be a citizen; you be a military general; you be a judge; people are listening to you.

So, whether you speak from the parliament; or on the street side; or in the court house; speak with total and complete responsibility; let the world see the wisdom of Pakistan.
