FDI in Indian Railways

  • My congratulations to our brilliant space scientists for yet another successful launch of the polar satellite.
  • Even today's satellites are from developed nations. Truly, this is a global endorsement of our space capability.
  • This is a domain where we are the international cutting edge. We have achieved excellent and cut beyond mediocrity.
  • This fills every Indian's heart with pride and I can see the joy and satisfaction on your faces. Feel privileged to watch this in person
  • We are proud that our programme is indigenous. Generations of scientists have worked to make India a self-reliant space power
  • Our space journey has come a long way from the humble beginnings
  • Our Mars Mission Cheaper Than The Movie Gravity
  • I congratulate the scientists. This Sadhna you have done in the lab has the power to change the lives of millions of people
  • Such technology is fundamentally connected with the common man. As a change agent, it can empower and connect, to transform his life

    • For space vehicle, we have developed indigenous technology with our investment.
    • For railways, we depend on 100 percent Foreign Direct Investment.
    • We have ambition; but no capital for Desi Direct Investment.
    • Our Desi brothers and sisters investing their savings in Swiss bank
    • Our Desi brothers and sisters investing their skills in Google, Cisco & Facebook.
    • Google, Twitter & Facebook - all have already invested 100 percent direct.
    • Our space programme is cheaper than Movie Gravity.
    • But our railways are costlier than total production of Hollywood.
    • What about the ticket prices?
    • Those Foreign companies fix the price or still the Railway minister?
    • What about the job security for our railway employees.
    • Soon, just like our IT professionals our train drivers also complain about mental stress.
    • Ambitions are high;
    • Capital is low;
    • Beg, borrow and steal and launch high-fancy, high-speed trains.
    • Next generation will carry the debt burden.
    • More chaos and confusion; all at full speed.
