From Tragedy to Comedy

Only in Ceylon.

Only in Sri Lanka, newspapers could publish 2009 news in 2014. The president admits in these six years, Mahinda Rajapaksa couldn't achieve any major political, social and economical transformation in Sri Lanka.

In Japan, the war came to an end in 1945 after the atomic bomb with heavy loss of lives. Then by 1951, the leaders could transform Japan in political, social and economical fronts.

That was the effective leadership that could transform Japan.

Here in Sri Lanka, you have a very entertaining leadership. No shortage for fun and comedy.

For more than three decades, when you see any newspapers from Ceylon, it was all about assassination; killing; dead human bodies. Once for all that tragedy came to an end.

Now, you visit any Sri Lankan website, it is full of entertainment. The whole nation; not just those political leaders; media; citizens; together they have fun and full of entertaining politics.

The President Mahinda Rajapaksa said not to underestimate his skills. Winning the support of this politicians his latest achievement. Media is busy in making cartoons that money could buy their political leaders. Citizens of Sri Lanka is actively participating in their democratic responsibility by making sarcastic comments about their political leaders.

Sri Lankan. The whole world is watching your actions. All these political entertainments are not for free. You pay a huge price for these entertainments.

Right now, Sri Lanka needs a serious, responsible leadership. Only then you could earn your respects back from the rest of the world.

The world could never understand the reason for the conflict after the independence in Ceylon. Now, with your irresponsible actions, the world could seriously learn the truth of that conflict.

You cannot continue to blame on Prabhaharan for your failure. Instead of taking the country forward, you're taking the country backward by publishing 2009 news in 2014.

It's time; stop all these entertainments; get serious; move forward; transform the nation in political, social and economical areas.
