Sri Lanka Movement

Right now, in Sri Lanka, there is a movement; similar to the one Imran Khan is leading in Pakistan.

The current movement in Sri Lanka is so natural without any external simulations. It is not a seasonal one for this election; it is not just for this election. The current movement will go beyond the election.

Almost all citizens are participating in this movement. It's too late to stop this movement. This movement would transform Sri Lanka. This movement would transform the lives of all; both citizens and Mahinda family.

When the transformation happens, citizens life would go up and Mahinda family would go down.

There is no way out for Mahinda family. In fact, Mahinda was not prepared for any transformation.

Had Mahinda prepared for any crisis, he would have no hesitation to live a life of an ordinary citizen of Sri Lanka. But Mahinda and his family have messed up a lot. They may not feel comfortable to live as citizens of Sri Lanka.

When Mahinda family leave the country, they may need two flights to accomodate their family members. So they cannot take all their party workers along with them. Realizing this truth, the party workers would start moving away from Mahinda and his family; they also would participate in the current movement.

All civil service executives have already participating in this movement. So, nobody could stop this movement. This movement would go beyond the current election. It is a movement for building modern Sri Lanka.

There is a confusion;
If Rajapaksa is re-elected, his third term will begin on 19 November 2015;
if not, the winning candidate will take office immediately.

The current movement would not give room for any of these confusions. This movement would not allow any mis-interpretation of the law. This movement would continue and people would continue to participate as a responsible citizens of Sri Lanka in the future government. That is democracy.

Just follow the rule of the law and accept the verdict of the people.

Don't try to fix the result. Let the election happen in just way.

Let the election happen without any disruption on January 8, 2015.

Let the Pope visit on January 12, 2015.
The Pope visit was organized by the President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
So, let the President enjoy the Pope visit without any worries.
People from India, the Indian catholics would like to visit Sri Lanka during Pope visit.
Let the event happen without any disturbance.

Then on January 15, 2015, let the votes be counted.
Then let the winning candidate take charge as the President of Sri Lanka.

So, after the election, let all citizens take a break.
Don't worry about the safety and security of the ballot boxes.
The Sri Lankan military would protect them.
