In democracy, we conduct elections to end chaos and confusion.  That is how democracy works in US. Once the election is over results are announced, the President-elect has the stability for the next eight years. On daily basis, nobody could challenge the President.

But here in India, chaos and confusion starts after the results are announced. It continues for the next five years. Almost on daily basis, someone challenges the Prime Minister of India.

Before election, the 814 millions of people of India had the power. Once they did cast their vote, power is transferred from 814 millions to 543 parliamentarians. So, at any point of time, if anyone could collect the numbers, that person could become the Prime Minister of India.

So, in India, as per the constitution, any parliamentarian could become the Prime Minister of India at any time in these five years.

In fact, United States may follow India. Their constitution is kind of stable; so it is boring. There is absolutely no political entertainment in US.

Once they adopt the Constitution of India, any senators could become the President of United States at any time. Every two years, someone could check-in to White House as the President and Commander-in-Chief.

Person, who had been in the military; how could they just sit inside the parliament and listen to that boring speeches. Nowadays, nobody throw any paper weight or pepper spray inside the parliament; every MP behaves so good inside the parliament.

Do we make a military general as a judge in the supreme court. Military professionals won't listen; they just act; the court will be a court-martial.

Then how could make a military general as a parliamentarian. It is a punishment.

So, make VK.Singh as the defense minister.

Media reports; Narendra Modi is going to have a periodic meeting with military chiefs in private. Manmohan Singh had never done this.

There was no need for Manmohan Singh. Manmohan Singh had a full faith and trust on his cabinet ministers. Manmohan Singh completely delegated the responsibilities to those ministers.

Narendra Modi conducted his entire election campaign from Gujarat. Narendra Modi couldn't trust anyone in his cabinet.

During the election campaign, Narendra Modi established a direct relationship with people of India.

After the results, within this month, Narendra Modi established a direct relationship with all the IAS and other government executives.

In this one month, Narendra Modi also established a direct relationship with all the state Chief Ministers.

So, nobody could challenge Narendra Modi directly.

That doesn't mean, things will go very smoothly without any threat.

There are so many parliamentarians not happy. They may join hands and make a change in nation's leadership.

So, day by day, everyone is just working on strengthening their positions. When a crisis arise, you will see their true color.
