Character of Indian Citizen

Wealth is nothing.
Health is something.
Character is everything.

We could be proud of fellow citizens of India. They had done a wonderful job. In fact, in the world perspective, they bring about a transformation. People used to have a opinion about India as a poor country with full of beggars on the street.

Now, that is not the case. Fellow citizens of India earned so much with their hard work and saved those wealth in a foreign nation.

How this could be considered as a bad thing. In fact, so many Indians are living in other countries and earn in USD or Euro. They pay tax for the country they live; they don't pay tax to India; they don't invest in India.

What is the problem here?

First of all, media has to pay attention in choosing the words.

Indian Money in Swiss Banks.

This doesn't look right for common man. Swiss Bank accepts only USD or Swiss Franc.

So, media should not use the word, Indian Money.

You could say, Indians have huge savings in Swiss Banks.

So, these hard working Indians earned a lot and saved their savings in Swiss Banks.

In fact, we need to honor these citizens of India. For more than a decade, the whole world complains about economic recession and economic depression. But these fellow citizens of India, had been worked so hard; faced lot of challenges in the international market and earned profit.

What is the problem?

Did they involve in illegal business. It is not possible to involve in illegal business in international level. Moreover, our fellow citizens of India would not involve in illegal business; that would spoil the reputation of our culture and nation.

So, what is the problem? Do they need to pay tax on these income?
Is that all. They would. Paying tax on Swiss Bank account; that would have been a simple one.
They will do it.

Our fellow citizens of India had reason for not paying tax on their savings on Swiss Banks.
In the previous government, all tax money had been corrupted by the ministers.
In fact, we need to appreciate our fellow citizens of India.
They saved this wealth for India from those corrupt ministers.

In fact, we should honor our fellow citizens of India with Bharat Ratna and other prestigious awards.

We shall announce; our fellow citizens of India could now BUY Bharat Ratna and other awards with their savings in Swiss Bank. In that way, we could easily bring the wealth back to India.

If we try to take away all wealth without any compensation; then that action would discourage the future generations.

Nobody will work hard; nobody will take any risk; nobody will do any business in the international level. Everyone will become poor. India will become a poor country.

The problem is, our expectation is sky high. We expect our citizens to work hard and earn great wealth and demonstrate high quality character by giving away entire wealth to the people of India and go into forest or Himalayas as Rama went into forest.

Nobody will do it. We need to be realistic. Instead of robbing entire wealth of hard earned savings of fellow citizens of India, we need to motivate them to invest those savings back into India.

One thing is clear. Character is totally and completely missing in almost all citizens of India.

It is all about character.

Whether it is sexual violence in Uttar Pradesh; or wealth in Swiss Bank; it is all about character.

Fellow citizens of India, whether rich or poor; whether living in city or village; whether educated or not; nobody demonstrate any character.

Earlier, you could trust people from village; more than ignorance, they had innocence. But not anymore.

In today's condition, don't trust anybody.

In current perspective,

Character is nothing;
Health is something;
Wealth is everything.

So, India is one large family. In this family, all fellow citizens of India have no value on character. So, treat both, the sexual violence accused and Swiss Bank savings suspects in the same way. They are our brothers and sisters of India. So, it is a problem in our family, India.

For all our internal problems, it shame for India to seek help from Swiss Bank authorities about the character of fellow citizens of India.

Character and Value. India lost both.
