Corruption & Mismanagement

Had it happened in Uttar Pradesh; or Bengal; or Tamilnadu; or Kerala; by this time, the Home Minister Rajnath Singh would have made several calls to the Chief Minister; Governors; Chief Secretaries.

Indira Gandhi formula is the best for India. We rule Delhi; you manage your state.

This Chattisgarh tragedy must be the topic of discussion in Australia.

In general, throughout the world, political leaders commit two mistakes:

  • Corruption
  • Mismanagement
Corruption is now under control. Very powerful communication tools have brought awareness in people; people could identify any corrupt practices at the very beginning.

Political leaders also have realized the value of integrity; and the value of good character.  Mostly family members manage wealth; by doing some legitimate business. Wealth is no longer an issue for political leaders.

Besides that, the law is effective; most of the corrupt political leaders had been to jail. Also there are ways to recover the wealth back from the corrupt political leaders.

So, corruption is not an issue at all for this century.

Mismanagement is a serious issue. Loss of lives because of mismanagement is a serious criminal offense.

Loss of lives may happen in many ways:
  • War - George Bush sent the US military to Iraq & Afghanistan
  • Terrorism - Attack on World Trade Center
  • Flood, Cyclone, Fire, Tsunami, EarthQuake and other natural calamities
  • Conflict in the border areas
  • Road, Bus, Train and Air accident
  • Stampede in festival
  • Naxal menace
  • Communal violence & riots
  • Rape and murder
  • and Chattisgarh Sterilisation tragedy
War. Political leaders do know that their soldiers will die. People join in the military are prepared to die. So you cannot avoid that death.

Terrorism. It is a challenge. You cannot blame political leader.

Natural calamities. Political leaders do take cautious measures to minimize the damage. Nothing to blame.

Conflict in the border areas. It cannot be avoided.

Road, Bus and other accidents - you cannot blame political leader.

Stampede. Political leader could take steps to manage it.

Naxal meance. It is a challenge to all.

Communal violence. Nowadays, political leaders stay away from them.

Rape and murder. Unless the political leader is directly involved, you cannot blame them.

Chattisgarh Sterilization tragedy. No need for judicial enquiry. Nothing to enquire.
Dead bodies are there. It is obvious.

When corrupt leaders go to jail; leaders, who mismanaged the government also have to go to jail.

The dead are not going to coming back live; but there should be a punishment.

Resignation will do no good. Go to jail and go through the punishment process.

Corruption is non-issue compare to loss of lives.

Where is Doctor Subramanian Swamy.

For a single woman death, Dr. Swamy gives his whole time & energy.
Now, Dr. Swamy couldn't open his eyes and see the truth in this tragedy.
